I’ll have to admit that I’ve been doing the Facebook thing too much.  I will strive to participate more here.   I like this group and want it to stay around.

I haven't  posted at all lately. Why? I really don't know. Not posting on facebook either. Is my weberitis cured? I don't think so because I'm still lurking here and facebook, still searching CL, still using and loving my kettles. So what is it? For me I think it's just I feel I have nothing to contribute. We've all seen a million pics of ribs. How many times can I post pics of my kettles? It seems like every kettle related subject has already been covered pretty thoroughly. I would like to contribute more in the cooking section but my photography skills aren't very good and I'm usually too consumed with the cooking than taking pictures.  With that said, I still love it here and prefer here to facebook. I'm gonna do a prime rib tomorrow and will try to get a few pics.

To Mike in Roseville. You bring up a very valid point. That being said, message board members do have a “life cycle” and people do come and go and maybe come back too. I would love to see the WKC hit 10 years and it will.

I still cook and post! ;-)
I would not worry so much about it.
Some people are slaves to the social media monster, and some just enjoy life for all it offers and they are satisfied.
That being said... Pulled Pork and French Fries today!

Thread cleaned up and ban issued.

Regardless of your passion for webers grills, it is NEVER acceptable to make personal attacks towards another member.

We are a community of kettle heads, not an alliance of ideals.

Yeah they kicked me out too. Facebook drama is a different kind of drama.
More similar to high school.
WKC is real life where people don't fuck around with nonsense.

[emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

I think a lot of good points have already been made about Facebook groups, repetitive cook posts, and just plain busy lives.
I think we need to remember that we are the WKC and that we make this community what it is. It's like Fight Club you decide your own level of involvement, and an ebb and flow is quite alright.
It's funny this came up because I was just thinking this morning, we haven't had a good ecook in awhile. I always liked having those and it seems like a fun way to keep people involved. Just my two cents.
I do appreciate this place and check in everyday, even if I don't comment as much as I used to. Plus it's been like a year that I've had a score! Going through withdrawals
Thanks everyone for being silly grill collectors/cookers [emoji3]

Ecooks are great!
If someone wants to take the lead on it, I'm happy to enable and help however I can.

The WKC has always been run and lead by volunteer efforts.
