No, but I did have squirrels chew the top posts off of a battery and a ton of wiring under the hood of a Buick regal that I used to own. They are destructive little bastards.

Soak some rags in ammonia and tie them to the grill.  Should chase them off.  If not, try putting them squirrels onto the grill (air rifle).  Good luck.

Never trust a squirrel... they're just rats in nicer clothing.

That's a first for me. Never seen that before...

Thanks everybody for the responses. Yeah I have no problems shooting and grilling the furry tailed rats. Currently my son and I enjoy tormenting them any chance we get with the nerf guns!!!

Bushy Tailed Tree Rats!
We have so many in the woods behind us
and by default our property too.

I don't think shooting them makes a dent
in the population and I've tried.
We took 23 one weekend in just a few hours
without baiting them.  Black walnut trees
are abundant.  They leave us gifts of green
balls everywhere.
I can't imagine how many @MartyG has at his place!
And yes they are pretty tasty.
it just takes a bunch to make it worthwhile.

HA! Yeah, lots. I'm not bothered much by squirrels - our cats keep them in the trees for the most part. Ground hogs are the biggest pest. Deer are all over the place. Fox, rabbits, racoons, mink, hawks, Blue herons, snakes, feral cats, owls - we have 'em all. I'm surprised they let us live there.

My Grandpa and my Uncle were hunters when I was a wee lad. They'd come home with a shit load of squirrel and rabbits. They'd clean them in the basement, and grandma had the chore of cutting them up and cooking them. Fried. Friggin' yum they were.

Allow me to say...FUCK SQUIRRELS! Nothing but g-d tree rats!

Neighbor has a black walnut tree...we have to dig up dozens of "squirrel trees" yearly. Hey squirrels- eat your effing nuts, assholes!  ;D

One early spring I noticed the plastic gas tank on my commercial mower had been gnawed on at some point during the winter. Luckily the bastard didn't make a hole.

After battling them in the attic for years, and winning for a couple, I had to call in an exterminator. I live in a closely populated place and can't shoot 'em. I do have an air pistol that I use sometimes just to bust their balls.  8)

Yeah, it's a thing for me.  :o
