New To Me Yellow

I have not posted in a while, but still grabbing kettles and cooking like crazy. Also reading the forums like crazy too. I feel like I need to contribute more, I learn so much from everyone here I should start posting so folks may be able to learn a little something from my mistakes. Maybe in my free time (if I can ever find any).

Anyways, I wanted to post a couple pictures of my new yellow, and give a big thanks to everyone that help me acquire it. @Mike In Roseville helped convince @cellar2full to let go of this beauty. @Jordanw brought it up to Reno for me which I am extremely grateful for. It's been a few months in the making but patience played off on this deal. Took it camping and grabbed a few pictures for everyone. Thanks again guys, I think this is my new favorite!

Glad your enjoying the kettle Todd.  That yellow is a darker shade than any other yellow I've come across.  It is more mustard yellow than most yellow kettles you see.  It was the kettle I always dragged to the WKC picnics.  Hopefully you will find time to share some posts.  It's amazing how many cooking and restoration tips I have picked up here on the Forum from other members.

I think Jim (Cellar2full) replaced some of the old damaged parts with brand new replacements. I personally like the look, gives it a kind of resto mod feel to it. Thanks again everyone, I feel privileged to have this old girl in the collection!
