Hey all,

After all 30+ years of gas grillin', I'm going back to my roots. I just bought the original kettle grill like I had all those years ago and can't wait to re-learn how to bbq properly.

Welcome to the Forum and welcome back to cooking on charcoal.  Quite a few of us have gassers along with our kettles but you can't substitute that charcoal flavor.

Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...

Welcome from Indiana. I gave up gas over a decade ago, then i refurbished a curb find Weber gas grill. Used it a couple times and now it's just taking up space. I need to get rid of it too

Welcome back to charcoal! Be sure you pick up a charcoal chimney starter and learn how to use it. You don't want to be using lighter fluid after all!
