@tibas92017     I have also been using it to season my cast iron pans instead of the oven and the tank still goes for 6 months.   r.

Seth: will a 12" Cast Iron Pan fit on the WEBER Q 1200?  Also, I have the round Weber Cast Iron Gourmet Grill Pan which is 12 inches across, so, will this also fit on the Weber Q 1200?

@tibas92017  The 12” Lodge will not fit.  The lid hits the side of the pan.

My first gas was the Q1200 and then the GA gas. Love both of them for different uses. Buying a Q300 tomorrow and cant wait to get that going. Its the older Q300 with a new logo burgundy lid.

I have either a Q100 or Q200 (can't remember).. unfired (still has the tags/stickers on it), picked up for $20 a year or so ago. I still haven't fired it up yet.

I don't use mine a lot, I actually don't use my kettles a lot but, it is really nice to have in a pinch.  I have always said the Q's are the perfect gasser for a charcoal guy.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

I like mine, don't use it often but I've not had it long. Got it off craigslist, "used once", for $40
It seems to get good gas mileage and is perfect for smaller jobs. I've done burgers, brats, bacon, once and twice baked potatoes, frozen party pizza, frozen chips and still haven't used two 1lb propane bottles.
Quick and easy to get the food on, 10-15 minutes she's ready and the temp holds very steady.
Only downside is the charcoal smokey flavour isn't there but that's not a problem.

I have a 2004 Baby Q. I think it was close to the first year of production for the Q models.  This model has been renamed at least twice since then (Q 100 then the Q 1000).  When they first came out they did not have shelves.  I added shelves to it once they were offered as replacement parts.  My wife uses it nightly to cook vegetables while I cook the proteins on the kettle.  After 14 years, the only thing I have replaced is the burner tube.  Even though they are stainless steel, they still rust and corrode, probably more from acids in marinades and sauces that drip on them.

Since this comment back in August, I picked up a Spirit E-210 on CL for $50. I originally picked it up to flip but having read that the Spirit line was rated a top buy by Consumer Reports due to it's even heat distribution (no hot or cold spots on the cooking grate), I decided to try it before reselling on CL.   Now after cleaning and using the E-210, my wife raves about how much better it is than the Weber Q she has been using.  She no longer has to move the vegetables around due to the hot and cold spots that are common on the Weber Q.  Looks like it will be the Weber Q's that will going up for sale instead.  I might keep one as they are much easier to to transport for tailgating and vacationing.

I have 2 roadside finds. I’m hoping between the 2 of them I can get one working. Never cooked on one as of today.
Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

I have an electric q due to no charcoal or gas allowed where I live. I use it a lot. I do get to use charcoal and my 26 at my Sons house more though. I really like having my Q but would not be my first choice.

Love my Q!  I first started with a Q1000 and then to a red Q2200.  Use it for cooking certain things and if I am pressed for time.  Just remember to clean out the bottom once in a while or they will catch on fire.  Yep that is what happened to my Q100 lol!

I gave my Q to a guy at work.  I try to keep him happy, after all he’s found 3 vintage kettles for me.  As for the Q,  I cooked on it a few times, but I just  like firing up charcoal.

I love my Q1200. We use it for tailgating/camping. I got the griddle to replace half the grill and it's great for breakfast.  And,  I'm very pleasantly surprised how hot I can get that thing.

I sold my Genesis E320 a while back as it is a little too big for me and
my wife since the kids are gone.  I am in the process of redoing a Genesis Jr.
but it will mainly be used a roti grill.  We started using a Q300 that I was
going to turn last summer and really liked it.  I picked up another this
spring and it has turned into our daily driver.
