I'm doing a 7# rump roast on the rotisserie using a slow n sear at about 225°. How long do you think it will take?

Probably depends on how thick it is.

Interesting. I have little experience with rump roast. What internal temp are you shooting for?

Do you want to be able to shred it, like pulled pork? Or do you want to slice it, like deli roast beef? Do you have a meat thermometer? For sliced, I'd cook it to an internal temp of 135 (medium). For shredded or pulled, you'll want to go to about 165 internal.

As for time, it doesn't take long at all on the roti. Not near as long as pork. Could be done in a couple or three hours.
