Cooking some brisket.  Having the whole family over. Should be fun!

Cave-man rib-eye & Maryland crab cakes. Just me and my wife today. When my son calls I can rub it in.

We ended up making some gourmet brats from a specialty place for lunch - my ex brought them down with him and he and I both had some ribs in the freezer so we smoked those for dinner. I had my kids make an orzo salad with dill and feta and some doctored up baked beans to go with it.

For a change, we did not end up with mass quantities of leftovers-something Iíve been trying to avoid since my kids donít seem to want to eat them and I end up having to toss them. So all in all, I call it a success!!

I grabbed a rack of spares from the freezer, and made candied bacon knots.

First attempt at a couple of classics - PSB and ABTs. Both judged delicious by myself and family!
