26” Performer—-what?
« on: May 31, 2018, 03:36:07 PM »
Just finished building my murdered out 26” kettle mounted on a Gen 2 performer frame. Still got some touches to finish up and maybe a new table top —but like the way it’s coming along.

That is very cool!  What did you use for the table top?

That is truly a nice conversion

Well done! One day I will also build a 26 performer as I'm having already almost all parts. However, I have no time for that right and, what's more important, no space[emoji53]

The best mods are the ones that appear obvious in retrospect. I don't recall anyone widening the track of a Performer table before, to accommodate a 26, but it makes sense how you did it.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
