Got this on Letitgo for $400; it was originally listed for $500 and not only did the seller drop to$400 without our me asking, they actually held it for 3 weeks for me to return home from vacation.
Turns out it was a lovely older couple who were downsizing and moving to Arizona. Although they lived in Buffalo Grove, the husband was from the South Side of Chicago, his father was a policeman and a they were White Sox fans, just like myself. The wife was bit emotional as they had the house built from the ground up, raised their three children there and had redone the backyard a few years back to host their daughter’s wedding.
The deal was done and we must’ve talked for an hour or so about life, family and colleges(I’m an Illini, they were Redbirds) and the wife said she felt a lot better seeing te grill go to a nice young family man.
