Quick cook on the red mt
« on: April 20, 2018, 01:24:20 AM »
Marinated pork tenderloin seared then slid to finish over med high heat. Pulled it around 140ish to rest.
Some asparagus direct heat for a couple minutes and time to eat.
Really loving these mt’s right now. Such convenient cookers.
Have a good one fella’s!

Looks awesome, both the grill and the food
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Yup. I'd say you nailed it!! 8)
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

And that vintage of thermo is the best imo. Hopefully I can find a mt someday.

Nice one Travis!   Same here. I love using Gen1 MT kettles. Much more convenient than older MBH kettles.

Hell yes! Do you use that weed burner to light your coals? I’ve considered it but haven’t done it.

Yeah, now it's like every kettle is gas assist!
I do worry about porcelain popping, so I might move to a smaller torch. I definitely heard the kettle heating up faster than I wanted last night[emoji51]
