Brookshire Brothers (East Texas, not sure how far out they go) has B&B Oak Lump in the 20# bag for $11.99. That's about a couple of dollars off what Academy gets I think and since it's my main go to stuff I'll probably stock up a little

I just got back from Wally World.  I found the twin 15lb packs...unmarked and sitting alone in a corner.  I noticed that they were wrapped in BLUE plastic, not the normal clear of the regular twin packs.  Took one twin pack up to the register for a price check....6.98   Told the cashier I wanted 5.  150 lbs of charcoal for 37 bucks.  Kick A$$!!!

If it needs to be Heated to be Eated, I can do it on my Weber!

Walmart is once again cheaper. Will have to load up a cart and store it in some dry place as I'll probably have it for a year. lol

I got 80lbs at my HD this morning.  No limit on purchases, and plenty in stock.

Picked up four 20lb twin-packs this morning at the local HD for 9.99 each, and went back for two more after a few errands. Had my 4X10 trailer with me, and was tempted to fill it up.

Last year the cashier mentioned the price will be even lower on the last afternoon of the sale. So give a check then to top off your stockpiles.

I'd go back if Walmart weren't so far. I still have 120# of K and 50# of RO in the car. Need to make room to store it this weekend, lol

Store it? You should be burning some this weekend!
I don;t need any K, and I can always find it. Interesting that I am seeing all these differnet brands available and on Sale. Walmart alone had 4 different kinds of charcoal and lump.
OSH has Lazzaris on sale.. Another favorite.. I would buy direct from them, but their warehouse is too far and only open M-F.  May have to see if BBQ's Galore has any deals. I doubt it..
