With all the Chief's that have surfaced over the last year, seemed only right they have their own appreciation thread.

I finally finished the restoration on "Misty".  This poor thing has been sitting in my garage disassembled for over a year.  For some reason, I kept jumping other kettles ahead of it to restore.  It waits no longer.

Send that second picture to Weber. They need to see this kind of quality.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Show off! Oh, wait, that's the point of this thread...

That grill could compete with anything on wheels at any concourse competition. Minus 2 points for not lining up the vent tab to WNW like the handle though.

I'm not too impressed by many pics on here, but I am by this one. I coulda sworn this was a retouched image from a 70s magazine.

Thanks for the laugh Marty.  Spoken just like a person who has judged or shown a vehicle at a concourse show. Brought back memories.

Now we're talking fellas.  That's what we want to see on this thread.  A cornucopia of copper mist 26ers.
