I like it! Now, if you can go one step further and tie all 3 vents with one pull and push rod to control all 3. Or somehow connect all 3 vents with center sweep rod similar to the newer 3 blade ash sweep rod.

@Hell Fire Grill, How's this coming along? Did you ever finish this mod on all three daisy wheel vents? It looks like pulling the knob would move the whole kettle, depending on how tight the vent screw is.

@greenweb has an interesting idea.

No. I took it off and threw it in the parts bin.

I just use the lid vent or "tilt" the lid if its not hot enough.

You all get the idea though...its just a bunch of junk you can get at the hardware store & DIY.
