Outrider Appreciation Thread
« on: January 20, 2018, 03:19:21 PM »
Fun to see all the Outriders pop up in the 18.5 threads, but they deserve a thread of their own. Post yours here!

Check out this weathered warrior - it lives outside my barn, uncovered, like a feral cat.  Lost it once, but I trapped it again. It loves raw meat. Some kettles can barely set a front leg outside this time of year. Outriders like to rough it.

That’s got some really nice fade. I’ve got a couple of JJs (before the outrider moniker) One cooker and one looker (NIB).

This could be titled, the Outrider Under-Appreciation thread ….  ;)

IMO, these are great cookers once you figure out the side intake vents.

Here is my M code.  All original except for replacement SS hardware and a zav handle.

Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

Original Jumbo Joes (not the recent version) and JJ Premiums welcome here too. They're all Outriders to me. I have nothing against the new style, never tried it, but it's no Outrider.

Oh, and yes @SmokenJoe , we ALL want a Red(out)Ryder

@mike.stavlund please tell your Red(out)Ryder Christmas Story again, you know the one...

My Outrider was my last score in 2017.  I just cleaned it up last weekend.   It needs a Zav handle.
