Yes, keep a good thought !!!

This is a very minor, detailed, nit-picky note......

Quote:
"I woke up at 4:44 this AM and said eff it, I'm going."

Now, there's two posts in a row that say either quarter to five or 4:45.......

Seems insignificant, however.....444 is my favorite number &  just an added little bit of luck sent in from here..... 8)

It comes from the Elvis song "Mystery Train" ~~>

Went down to the station //// asked the station master if the train was runnin' late.....He said: " Son if you've been waitin' for the 4:44....hate ta tell ya boy, that train don't stop here anymore !!!"

OBVIOUSLY, You did NOT miss the train !!!!!
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!

Hey, we should probably put a suicide watch on our friend Bman.  He's like a mountain climber who just summitted  Everest...  where can he go from here?  What will bring him any kind of thrill?  What will get him up at 4:45 next Saturday morning? How will CL ever be the same?  What do you do the day after you score two pristine redhead kettles with NIB accessories *at the same time*? I shudder to think about it.

He's liable to sink into a depression deeper than a kettle with two rotis rings attached.  Let's keep him in our thoughts and prayers.  ;-)

Been there.. Its not pretty. Thank goodness for my meds and hammock..  8)
I don't care if you don't like my Avatar, its there for me..

Thanks Mike - Next Saturday, I'm thinking about taking the day off and giving the locals a chance.  :D

Buckie - the 18 is very nice, but it ain't perfect.  It also appears to be the most used of the two, but also in the better condition.  I'll get em' cleaned up and try to take better pics.

Hogsy - I couldn't believe the Sidekick table & hardware is still in the plastic!  Which is how it'll stay as long as I own these.  I can't bring myself to open em' up knowing I won't use it.

Bryan - an understated listing it was.  For crying out loud, they couldn't even get a shot of the 18" kettle into a general photo.  Which, obviously, worked into my favor.  Had there been multiple pics of both grills, it would have turned into a 6:30 WKC meet-and-greet.  lol

Buckie - they had a ton of seasonal yard ornaments on various 'sticks.'  If you look at the photo, the pumpkin stands out pretty good.  They had like 50 more of these types of things.  I dug through, but no skewers in sight.  And I looked a couple of times.  Then again, I also didn't see a bright red 18" kettle for a while either...  :D

cbpeck - I'm also amazed none of the other shoppers scammed the 18" right from in front of me.  To think I was digging though hundreds of cook books before securing the second red still blows my mind.

mama - I also wonder about the covers.  No printing anywhere on the cover itself.  The little tag on the 22 says - Assembled in Mexico   RN 78876
The 18" just says - Assembled in Mexico

Mike - I'm still standing on Mt Everest looking down at cloud 9
Where to go from here?  Red MT, yellow, 'cado, lime, brownie, 26.75", C&B, 18 WSM, 1880 wsm, etc.
You know what's missing from the list?  A red SS.....  8)

Allll Aboard!
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

That's something I've noticed with estate sale listings, they will often leave out the grill photos. I emailed one of my local people that puts them on and she has started putting pics of the grills in her listings now.

I have the metal parts for the table on order.  Chad, if you ever want to get rid of it, let me know!

Yeah, I was kinda bummed when I saw some guy snatch that from right in front of me.
But,,, I was clenching the unopened Sidekick table and the smile quickly returned.  :D
