I would like to cook a country ham on the grill this Christmas.

I would think that it would be fine.

Indirect

Will the smoke flavor from the grill add or distract from the ham?

Thanks

Travis

There is absolutely nothing that cannot be prepared on your grill, and a nicely smoked country ham sounds wonderful.

It's always better when you're cooking on a Weber!

Absolutely can be done. Set up like Speedster did indirect, you'll have a fantastic meal!
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

AMEN!!!!  This is what has really made using my grills a lot of fun...I find things that you'd never think of cooking outside and make it happen.  I even did a layer cake one night when I was bored and wanted to do something out of the box.  It came out great and I was surprised that it didn't pick up any charcoal or grill flavor.

I've done 3 country hams- 2 on the wsm and 1 on the kettle. Just think of it as an oven, whatever can go in the oven can go in your grill!

Thanks.

It turned out great.  Definitely the way to cook it.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
