Not a mod, but a quick, cheap fix
« on: December 08, 2017, 03:45:06 PM »
My taco has been missing a hubcap for a few months now. I don’t know what happened to it, but I’m tired of forgetting about it and having the wheel come off. I’m also cheap and didn’t feel like buying replacement hubcaps, so I was tinkering in the garage, replacing the ash sweeps and decided to McGuyver a repair for it.

What did I come up with? Super glue, a cable tie, and a ratchet strap. Voila! I hope it works.

Might as well super glue the plastic cap back on too.
From now on... only accelerate out of the turns and those wheels won't fall off. 😎

Update: it’s working! And the ratchet strap was only there while the glue dried. I’m not THAT jinky.

@Paul Isa, you da man!!
