I really dig this thing.  The grates are genius.  It really is a Kettle owners gasser in regards to the simplicity of how few parts there are.  I think the design is brilliant.  There's a new in box CL one that's an hour and 45 mins away.  I might have a rare day off today but there's so much I really ought to do before going on a road trip to save $100 on a Q that I probably won't use til next spring.

I love my q220 and q1000.   The 220 is movable but the 1000 is just so much lighter you don't mind moving it up and down stairs or across the park.   Really are simply made and should last forever with the cast lid, bowl, and grate. I've only replaced the burner tube in my q220 that ive had for 6 years, it was my only grill for 5 years, saw some heavy use, and ultimately led me to be a fan of all things Weber.
