kettle fried chicken
« on: July 30, 2012, 06:26:52 PM »
i trimmed up some chicken legs yesterday and marinated them in wishbone italian dressing.

I battered em up and grilled them indirect over all the used charcoal in my performer.
i also tossed on a chunk of maple.

as a side note, when i went to bed at midnight my grill was still at 375. I was done cooking at 7.
coshell charcoal is fricking amazing!!

What no butter on the rice?  What gives!  Did you French the bones, or did they pull back like that?  The meal overall looks freaking great!

I am no pro, that's just how I roll!   ::)

By the way, what the fuck is a 'cell phone'?  That's like saying you are listening to a cassette.  Cell phone? Cell phone?  That's it, I can't handle this shit anymore.  What is your REAL NAME!   I'm telling! >:(

asians don't butter the rice.

after the photo, i did drizzle a bit of oyster sauce (which the broccoli was already covered in) over it.

i trimmed the chicken like that.

and i'm not sure why i added the word 'cell' - sorry :)

I just like being an ass, and know that its all in good fun and no one has "feelings" that can get hurt.
We all appreciate each other for who we are, don't we?

(Larry, your pictures of food totally rock!)  What do you use for a camera. Don't say cell phone.
Theres a guy on here who gets totally pissed if you do!

And Troy, I didn't know you were asian. Damnit, this is America. If you were born here, your an AMERICAN!

Troy, the Japanese Steak houses put butter down when they fry the rice.......I'm just sayin'!

Judge, I use a Canon Digital Elph, just a point and shoot.  It fits in my shirt pocket and I love them, like butter on my rice!

to clarify, no butter on plain rice.

definitely butter when rice is fried.

all this photo talk is going to make me get out my camera for my next food shoot.

Exactly.......we are all eachothers members too and John, Shawn, G$, etc., TAKE THE TIME TO ATTEMPT TO PROVIDE THE BEST PICTURES THEY ARE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING FOR EVERYONE.  YOU on the other hand pull your cheeto covered 'cell' out of your pocket with no attempt to take a quality pic.  My point Tron, is you should take the time for 'US' and 'do unto others as they've done unto you'.   Not a sermon, just a message.  Praise Jeebus!
