1st Time Pepper Stout Beef
« on: September 17, 2017, 05:24:01 PM »
Finally decided  to try this...
Splashed a little Worcestershire sauce on a 3 lb Chuck roast.  Rubbed with house seasoning  (SPOG). Smoked on my Argentinian grill/ Stacker unit on the happy cooker at 250 degrees until IT was 165.

Layed it on a bed of onion, bell peppers, garlic and a Local Coffee Stout beer, with about 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce
And threw it on the 26er at 350 for a couple hours.

Shredded it, let the sauce reduce...and DAMMMMMM! This is the 1st of many of these!

Good job!  Never cooked it on my stacker before.  Cool idea.  Need to get a CI pot.

Looks awesome!  Is the stacker a necessity?  What would be the effect of doing this without the stacker?

The stacker just acts like a smaller WSM...low and slow and indirect is easier. .water pan between the coals and the cooking grate
