I do not like Costco butts...you can always get them cheaper from one of the local grocery stores, and bone in, which I prefer.

Gonna do a couple pork butts this weekend and was curious where everybody goes to buy them. I usually go to SAMS club but out membership expired. We decided to give Costco a shot this time, but there butts are boneless and I'm not sure about them. Anybody recommend a good place to go? Or are the Costco boneless ok? Thanks for any info

The problem with boneless is the bone helps cook it from the inside out. I have cooked boneless for a couple of events because Smithfield sponsored it but bone in is the way to go

Sysco, I work there. 1.19 per pound for bone in.
