Weekend cook up north
« on: August 20, 2017, 07:42:40 AM »
Started out with some ribs, onion, and taters.

Old gray trying to eat the sun [emoji23]

Ribs wrapped about 2 hrs left

Done and ready to eat!

The I hear honey if I make a pie will you grill it? What's a guy to do?

Hell yes I'll grill it, but I just cleaned the grill and really didn't want to get out the charcoal again and get the chimney going and so on and so on...

I know do it on the Weber gasser...

Thanks ribs where great! Pie was fun to do also. What I did was put a Weber disposable tin over it to brown the top the last 10 min and it could have gon on about 5 more min or so, but I was tired. Lol.

Pie was done in a very old griswold #6 cast iron.

Food was spot on! Pie was great but next time 5 more min with the tin on the top of it to get the top a little more brown.
