Manturion Griddle ?

Gotta be.  If for no other reason than that's about the coolest name ever.

The manturion griddle looks great but I have doubts about how they are to cook on. If high heat damages kettle porcelain, than how is the griddle different. Just seems like an odd surface for a griddle. I'm probably wrong but just curious.

I don't do Facebook either. Once you have held out as long as we have, I doubt we will join anytime soon [emoji848]

Sure it gets hot, but it's not really an issue.  Last time I used mine I had 2 baskets in the middle on the charcoal grate.
The MG sits a good inch above the lip of the bowl.  I like to keep the middle hot then cycle stuff from the perimeter.

Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

Did anyone end up acquiring this 18" rotisserie and ring only sold by Weber South Africa? If so, any thoughts on performance/quality?

I have a work colleague with South African connections and he is looking to source one for me. I've tried to buy the item from SA based stores online but none will ship to Australia. Let's see what happens.

Merry Christmas to all!

I asked and asked but I never got anyone’s help :-(
What I ended up doing was taking over someone else’s project roti and making it work for me.
I ended up cutting a 22”/57cm Weber roti ring and it curled up to fit perfect on my JJ and 18” grills.
I still have the cut offs if anyone needs the exact measurements to do the same thing.
