Weber Three Wheeler question
« on: April 27, 2013, 12:28:37 PM »
Picked up a gray three wheeler.  One of the daisy wheels on the bottom of the kettle need to be replaced.  1.  Is daisy wheel the official name?  2. Where can I pick one up at?

Thanks

The vents are still available from Weber. They are the exact same ones that are on the 22 WSM. As for the name, I always thought daisy wheel was a term of endearment but someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.

You need this kit:

Weber sells it as well. Its Weber 63016..

Hey Harris92 that sounds like a keeper. I have always liked the older kettles with the indivusal vent wheels better, I felt I could control the draft more than One Touch would allow.

Do you have any pictures of the new addition?

I agree with Reilly on the Daisy wheels for air control.

Not yet.  It is a gray from around 72' -'75  I am guessing.  It needs a good bit of work to clean it up.  I hope to have some pics up soon.

The nice thing about the three wheel individual vents on the bottom, is that you can control the individual vent closest to the charcoal.
This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"
