Lucky for me my wife is understanding about my Weber addiction. I told her this thing is early sixties and very rare and we are going to get it. I'm a lucky guy.

You knew where this was for 3 weeks and did not act? You could not justify a eight hour drive? I believe the Kettle has wound up where it belongs.

What kind of ash pan is that?  Does it have the hooks?  From the pics, it appears to be straight edged with the cutouts...just curious!  Congrats on the amazing score!

Once in a lifetime score!   Very nice, there is one 10 minutes away from me that is now on ebay for an ungodly amount of $.  That is my (along with everyone else) holy grail!  Can't wait to see pictures of it cleaned up!
