Cooker pics and some cook pics...
« on: May 25, 2017, 01:06:13 PM »
So, I THINK I finally figured out how to post pics...(did I mention that I THINK I know how? :P)

I will now try to post up a pic or two of a 1951 General Electric Frigidaire refrigerator that I repurposed into a Natural Gas fired food smoker - Circa 2000-

a couple more of the build...

Main cabinet gutted...

Main cabinet after exhaust stack and intake vents -interior cook box installed for fit just before high temp thermal insulation...

Door-Interior insulated, gasketed  and sheathed with .093" stainless sheet...

Some Grub that came out of that 'Fridge cooker...

OOOpps...Ignore That One!  :-[

Here 'ya go...

Salmon fillets...

Pork loins for Canadian Bacon and some ribs..

Finished cooked products..

Canadian Bacon ready for the slicer...

Sliced and vacuum packed, ready for the deep freeze...

A few shoulders-

Tools of the Trade and what they produced...

Well,I think I worked out the "Pic Posting Stigma!"  ;)

It Ain't a Kettle but it Sure Cooks Some Scrumptious Grub! (There 'Ya go 1buckie!)

Thanks for lookin' folks-Hope I didn't bore y'all too much! ;)

Best Regards,

Tony  8)

That's a neat looking rig. My brother made one out of a file cabinet.
