What cleaner to use on Genesis?
« on: May 22, 2017, 05:56:51 PM »
I am new to the forum and just picked up a 2007 copper Genesis E-310. I have it cleaned up pretty good but want to get it looking as new as possible. Is there a magic cleaner out there to use? Also, are there cleaners I should stay away from? Thank you.

Depends on which part you are trying to clean.   Outside ?  Inside of the lid ?  Inside of the firebox ?  Grates ?  Flavorizer bars ?   Inside the cart ?

Mainly the outside of the grill. The stainless and the lid etc.

I use Simple green or the like on the lid and Barkeepers Friend on the stainless.  You want to be kind of careful on the lid as you can scratch it up and make it hazy.
