this interested me cuz my me and my wife are lightweight "hippy-esc" on some things. so I googled it. and pretty much everything I read said that foil is everywhere, water supply, deodorant, antacids, cans, most car suspension parts are cast aluminum now. but everything did say high heat cooking could cause leaching of the chemical it releases. before foil people used cheese cloth soaked in some sort of animal fat or oil to wrap turkeys and roasts while basting and turning frequently.
I would like to keep my girls from getting sick, so if anything I'll probably spend the extra money on the good foil and stay away from the no name stuff.
can someone post up some cooks using the pink paper?

I use a lot of aluminum... pans, foil, beer cans, soda cans, etc. I'm happy to say, I'm still on the green side of the dirt... :)
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.
