This grill travelled 11000 miles
« on: March 23, 2017, 07:25:53 AM »
Several weeks back I posted a question to ask if mastertouch is worth the extra above premium. I eventually travelled to USA and got a mastertouch in Dallas.  I got it from amazon after visiting home depot lowes sears since none of them carried it.

I then carried the grill from DFW hotel to airport. DALLAS airport to DOHA airport. DoHA airport to DELHi Airport and then a 6 hours drive to my hometown.

After 34 hours of journey I reached home tired at 7 30 am. At 8 AM,  I was doing this...

After assembly... i passed out and then came the glorious evening...

Just did a burt out on first day and used it to churn out a batch of home made firestarters

Second evening started for cooking

Made some chicken using my custom made (prototype) grates.. i will post a seperate topic for my grates..

I travel to usa in May again.. i need suggestions for which one to buy again..

The adventure will continue.......

Each purchase of a weber grill is a very special and rare occasion for me as they are rare to come by around here.

That is awesome, maybe the long distant travel winner for a Weber. Your outdoor area looks really nice also !

So awesome!  Really glad you spent the extra for the M/T.  Looks like it is going to get a lot of use!
