Nice to have a new red but I'll stick with my old one.

I think they are missing the boat. Why not offer the ots in a few colors and get them to the masses?  I would think kettles in color would sell very well. Or they could produce one color a year and change that color each year to keep costs down.

Meh. Sorry to dissent, but it looks just "ok" to me and if there really is a logo added then no way would I buy one.

That picture is not a true representation of the real thing. If it is really a fire engine bright red.... it will look lot better.  Wheels are photoshopped too. Will have to wait till we see the real pics.

No matter how the final version looks and priced....just the fact that bright red is being offered this year is an exciting news.

Currently, not one of the options...

"I am also guessing that if logoed will be on the handle or on the taco shell somehow."

wont be a "bank breaker".  Think > 22" OTG <26". But right now in LIMITED quantity (that may change...)

Darn it man time to sell some more of the wife's jewelry LOL

I am guessing more $ than OKP at $150 but less than MT at $200 usd. Good chance, as a LE OKP, it might not come with MT legs, triangle, and wheels or even the lid bale assy. as shown. Why when they can throw in gbs cooking grate and call it a LE MT and charge $200 or more.  Whatever the case, as a LE OKP..... I would say $150 to $170 and as a LE MT $200 to $225 range.

Looks very similar in design to my Weber Mastertouch 22" Grill minus the Gourmet and Warmer Grates which costs around $200 in the USA.

I haven't bought a new grill in about 2 years.  This is enough to get me out of retirement.  Drool....

So you're saying it's going to have the logo printed on the lid in some fashion?  Forgive me if I should know this, but is this "Topper" cartoon guy a part a Weber marketing from the past?

I'm soooo in when this comes available. May need to say goodbye to one or two to make room for it.

Yes! Topper was Weber Bros Metal Works original grilling mascot through the 1950s. I'd be honored if he's going to be featured on the lid of this beautiful new red.

At the end of the day, who gives a s#!? about tacos or bolt on handles. It's gonna be FRIGGIN BRIGHT RED! For the first time in 18 years. A new kettle from Weber in Red!! Only question I have is how did they swing the environmental aspects of the red porcelain? Maybe worked out a temporary deal with a disposal contractor? Who knows! But I'm pumped!

Yes, it is legit.  Limited Edition in late 2017.  Suppose to be fire engine red (not crimson). Topper will be on the lid "somewhere".

I am not into logo kettles, but even if it came with a Topper logo on the lid...it will be still a very desirable new kettle for 2017. Actually, it will be really cool to have that logo on the lid.

Any chance this is a test to see how the red does and Weber will follow with a full release the following season? Pending results.

One of the options on the table - think of H. Simpson logo placement....
