Table restore

Thanks @cellar2full. I used your method. I also used my headlight restoration kit. Wet sand with 1000, 3000 grit and buff with drill using plastx before the 303. I already had it on hand.

I recommend the wet sand method. No dust.

Thanks guys. I tweaked the restore procedure a little but I would have never thought to try sanding it in the first place without @cellar2full restore procedure.

The 100, 220 did most of the work. I just figured I'd give the plastx and buff wheel a try but I honestly don't think that made a noticeable difference. All the stains scratches come off in the rough sand.

Contact Weber CS. They will give you a discount and send you a new metal replacement table. It might come under $110 or close to it.

Never over tighten the table bolts and never lift the cart by the table to avoid cracking it.

Thanks. It's good but not perfect. There are surface scratches in the porcelain and the the lid handle has been hit or dropped. It leans a little and I didn't try to bend it back to prevent breaking the welds. Other than that and a little grate tab rust, it is in good shape.
