Sprayed the badge with red paint. While still wet wipe off raised areas with paper towel dampened with mineral spirits. Recoat and wipe again. Clear coat with clear paint. Before I started I wet sanded the raised areas with 400 grit sandpaper.

Trick for the table? Back to the 400 grit sandpaper and wet sanding with the grain. Some of the deeper scratches are still there.

I think with all this talk I've inspired myself to clean up my main cooker the 99 red performer! LOL
