Brussel Sprouts, Mushrooms, and Onion on the Rotisserie
« on: January 15, 2017, 05:54:10 PM »
This was the main tonight.

Tossed with Salt, Pepper & OO.

30 mins direct over coals.  350F.

Pretty tasty.  Didn't need the Dragon sauce I was going to use on it.

Damn that looks good! I made Brussels tonight also.

I'd love to have one of those baskets. Where'd you pick that up?

That basket is pretty grate.  It smokes nuts really well.  I think folks also roast coffee in it.  I did wings in it once and they turned out good, not better than on the grate, but it was a bitch to clean the marinade out of the screen.  OO coated food and the nut seasonings (even with sugar & egg) actually clean up pretty well.

I bought it here with some other EU accessories:

My brother is getting into roasting his own coffee. That's what I would use it for. Thank you

I think I bought 4 accessories from there and combined shipping was about $20 USD I think.  It seemed pretty reasonable for the 4 items.  They weren't available here then, they may be now.  It would be nice if they were available here too.

Looks like a fun way to cook, but I can see it hard to clean marinated items, like you mentioned. Very nice cook. [emoji106]

You quickly learn what will be difficult to clean after and what is easy. It's not impossible, or even difficult to clean after a messier food, but just tedious. I don't think it is worth the effort for some foods. Soaking certainly helps in these cases.
