Got first Red kettle...
« Reply #15 on: January 09, 2017, 05:03:11 PM »
@Mr.CPHo - I should have requested you to agent me one red SSP in JAX- when it was on CL couple of days back.  Soon I will post the family pic of all the kettle :).
Dammit, don't tell me I missed a red SSP in my own area!  That's quite disconcerting.

Yep, anyone need an agent in my area I'll try my best to accommodate.

Red fades don't change

My red fade changes from a bright red to an angry deep red.  When hot, it gets a fade line on the bowl also. The pictures really don't show the actual dramatic difference.

Well I'll be damned. Red OTP is now on my list.
Still need a 22” yellow

Red fades don't change, but the bail and bucket is worth the trade.

My SSP is an ER (96) and it changes color big time.  This one is 2 years newer and looks the same as mine.  I'm betting it's going to change color!

@chiku18  -  If you pour or spray a little water on the lid while its hot it will cool and you can see the difference between the hot color and the cool color.  I first noticed it on mine one day when it was actually raining out here in the middle of the desert!
