Ivory assembled
« on: November 27, 2016, 09:48:17 AM »
Well in anticipation for a turkey cook next weekend for friends and family I put together the ivory. One because I wanted to, two because it was the only kettle that was accessible in our storage unit. Got up this morning and busted it out. Went together pretty easily this is the only new kettle that Ive purchased ( or been gifted in this case) and I have to say I was impressed with how well weber thought out the assembly. One issue I did have was the bracket pieces that fit inside the leg mounts and act as a lock once you put the legs in place. The instructions had me putting those in the legs mounts and then inserting the legs into the holes. I found it next to impossible to get them to line up. Made a lot more sense to me to insert the bracket inside the leg then click it into place. I thought I had my Wkc handles handy to put on her but they must be buried in storage. Oh well plastic for now...she's purty

Looks great! Plastic handles actually look pretty good on the Ivory's.
Looking for colored 18's and SJ's.

It's the only NEW Weber Kettle that I go back and forth on buying.  There's absolutely no need for it but goddamn isn't she classy. Congrats!

Very Nice.  I wish we could get that color here.  I have a NIB black one that I bought on clearance at Walmart.  I'm still deciding whether to keep it or not.  Enjoy that Ivory one.

Awesome. Love the black accents. Still having a hard time with the new taco handles and vent placement. Maybe that will grow on me.

Did it come with a black triangle?  That's really cool.
