Man those are nice! I'd like to add a wood handled GA someday, colored if possible.

Some beautiful GA's here. The colors drive me crazy as I've only seen them in pictures & never in stores. Where do you find them? I own a black & would love to have a blue or a red. Weber anything is rare in the part of TX I'm livin in & hardly ever on CL within a 4-5 hr drive. Maybe someday.

Hi Harris I noticed you have the vents the opposite way on the brown grill as the red is there a reason you switched them around I was thinking about setting my black GA grill like that but the legs seemed to hit the vents when I tried to fold it down or maybe it was up can't remember now ?

Great picture bear. I only have one. Pictures aren't the best but you get the idea.

Would a Go anywhere be a better choice than the jumbo joe? I’m torn for what to buy for camping this year.

 I don't think they marketed colors in the USA.
The Red Snap On is a sweet grill and is probably the only exception and probably fairly rare.
Would love one of those..

Hi all :D

I was lucky enough to pick up this GGA recently.
Going by 'The One. The Only.' handles and angled lid hooks I've been told it may be a 1983 C code.

When comparing with my other GGAs there's a couple of abnormalities.... no ignitor, no flavorizer and it came with a charcoal grate that has a 'drip pad' which looks to be a genuine part.
Is this a bastardized GGA or an example of an early model? Any info would be appreciated.

@lilgreenbud , I was in the same boat.  You will be fine either way.  I went with Go Anywhere, because it packs more easily and space will be a premium on my trip. But, you will be fine with either choice.  You really can't go wrong either way.

I like my Kettles like my coffee....strong and black.

2019 Black 26" OKP; 2015 Black 22" OKP; 2004 Black SJP; mid 70's Statesman; mid 70's Gourmet, 2017 Black CGA; 2000 Black GGA;
