Hip to be Square (Rectangle): GA appreciation
« on: November 03, 2016, 03:37:50 AM »
I've always loved the Weber Go Anywhere. It's versatile, portable, efficient, and IMHO very under-rated.

I regularly grill steak or fish for a family of 5 on mine and wouldn't be without one.

So let's see pictures of your GA's. I'll start with my first: N code NOS score from a yard sale $20 a few years ago, complete with Zavod handles

I still have one that I bought in 1979.  Back then Weber called them Table Top Grills.  My is black.  I still use for tailgating.  They are great little grills.

I used to do a lot of trade shows back then.  In order to build traffic in my exhibits, I would have visitors register to win a table top grill.  I'd  buy from the Weber distributor and drop ship to the winners.

Agreed, the GA is definitely an underrated grill. Here's mine, the gas version, it was my first Weber, a wedding gift from my sister.

Love the new addition.

Interesting photo @harris92 , is the newer red slightly larger than the older chocolate?

The handles on the red in a slightly different position (higher up).

The handles on the red in a slightly different position (higher up).

This is speculation on my part but it's possible that they made the bowl taller to accommodate propane model's burners.

GA Gas with Zav's Birds Eye Maple lid handle with some live edge. Stock side wood handles.  Some Orange peel on the lid.
