Chick-A-Bobs on the new CopperTop
« on: October 12, 2016, 03:56:19 AM »
Howdy folks! I finally dirtied up my new CopperTop... can't stay a virgin forever...

Anywho, what we have here is Chick-A-Bobs, marinated in my Asian sauce, strung up on Fire Wires, and placed around the SCREAMING hot Vortex. These are boneless, skinless chicken breasticles, chunked up and marinated in the fridge for about 4-6 hours...

CopperTop meets Mr. V...

Got him CRANKIN"!!

Here they are almost done...

Let's eat!! Served up with broccoli, rice, and some fresh 'maters...

Thanks for lookin'!

Yup, the copper is sweet! I got it screaming hot, and no color change like my new RedHead.

Thanks! They took 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour to get them to 165...

Thanks for posting. Always looks like great cooks.

I've really enjoyed cooking with the baskets in the middle lately. I'll be getting a vortex at some point. They really aren't that expensive and I think it will provide enough extra real estate in the 22 to be worth it. Plus they look cool.

I had to use up some bacon last night.
