Good looking chill! Have you plugged it in to see if it still gets cold?

Yes,  currently plugged in and nice and chilly, I'll measure the tempt when I get a thermometer not meant for cooking.

Congrats on the Chill pickup.  Wish you would have gotten that Target copper though!

I agree...

I'm visiting my wife in Mississippi and there is a Copper 22 with welded handles I am eyeing up.

Nice pickup.👍
Not just a mbh.
A red Mbh with thumbscrews on the leg sockets.
Very nice.
The wheels look good.
Let's see a vent pic.

Previous Owner cleaned it up before I got it.

Looks like he took a wire brush to it. The vent also free spins on the rivet.

I need to find a way to fix the warpage then I'll tighten the rivet.

It's always better when you're cooking on a Weber!

Wife is in town today so I am testing the waters for Weber's and what I want for my final collection. (Cue the lucky guy dance)

Red SSP:
Already Have and can't wait to use.

Red MBH 64'-68
Have, cleaned up and cooked up and love it and the color change.

Copper SJ "bronze"
Silver model with tuck and carry lid and craycort grates.

Charcoal GA
Maybe change out to any color but black with wood handles is nice

SJ Platinum
My weathered warrior, likely to convert to weathered smoker.

26r
Any non-black 26r would be awesome, or a weathered non damaged black would be great too!
Ranch
She wants a ranch so she can cook for large parties. Yay!

Weber Genesis 4000 (Plum)
Wife wants a plum so , find a plum genesis and build a 4000 model as our gasser. Woohoo

I am lucky and love this woman and thankfully she is a Chef and loves to cook so we will likely use all of our Kettles.

That's a nice wish list and an awesome wife you have there. After doing some multi-kettle cooks my wife gets it.

So.....

This happened today...

She cleaned up well with only a few tough spots. Looks new depending on the angle you look at it.

Cleaned up the vent a bit more.

Yeah it's beautiful but, I can't hoard all these kettles; she is going to my friend who lusted after my red MBH. It's a birth year kettle for him and he just got married.

Plus side....I'll get my midget back from him!

Ribs tonight! On the thumbscrew MBH

I need to adjust my cook for lower temp since the ribs were a little tough but still juicy and mildly tender.

Also did open face tomato sandwiches on the midget.
