Thank you. I made it for my mom. They are actually anti-glides. The beige ring is rubber to help hold it in place. I had to add the two in the center because it flexed more than I liked when pressure is applied in the middle.

Thank you! It was a 1" x 2" x 10' untreated cedar board. Sawed into 14" sections, glued to each other, sanded with 60, 180, 220, and finished with 4-5 coats of Watco Butcher Block oil and finisher.

I chose cedar due to its natural resistance  to water and it smells good. It started out as a cheeseboard but I kept making it bigger next time, I'm making a thicker one and using end grain.
