$20 Square dance club garage sale find

Found this kettle in the garage sale section on Craigslist for $25.
Went to see it on  lunch while at work. Square dance club garage sale.
Grill was clean. Really clean. Legs were a little tarnished as well as the triangle. Very clean One touch  G code black.
I offered $20 and they accepted.

I tried removing the legs there but could only get the back 2 out. The front was corroded and stuck. I ended up hauling it home that way. I found out during curbside disassembly that the grate was a lot thicker than my newer flip ups. Bonus.

A little scrubbing around the grate tabs. Inside done. Outside PB blast, Ballistol and a propane torch were needed to free up the front leg that had been installed caddywampus.

Overall was in real nice shape. (Except for the leg)
Everything was good. The handles need stain but are in good shape.
The ash sweeps and pan are great. Pan is clean but needs a polish still.

Love orange peel on the lid. Even has a drip or run in it.😊

Pics are giving me trouble tonight. Try again tomorrow.

Yep thought it was the one you posted on the orange peel thread. That's a great score dude! Can't believe it for $20. And the white walls are intact. Nice.

Same kettle lid kettlebb. I was having trouble uploading the pics. One whitewall was there. The other is a donor from what has become my second nicest kettle.😊I need to find a few white walls.
