@Neil_VT00 - Thank you for posting that picture of your vintage Weber cover NIB. That does lead me to believe the one that came with this kettle is indeed a Weber product.

Congrats ..if its a while for full restore..may wana drop some kroil oil or wd 40 sporadically on the vents which may  help unfreeze your events...some requure multiple oil tratements to loosen up...
