It will look even better with the fire lit and the smoke rolling out the top vent!

Amazing score, FE !!  Thought this colour never existed, even though it's in the 1962 catalog.  Been waiting to see one show-up.

So, this colour is not listed in the 1964 catalog …. Is it safe to say that it's a 1963, since it has a wooden lid handle ??

I have talked with MacEggs probably a good 15 times about this very Kettle. If one was known already, who might have one, how many years they made it, the hue of Yellow used....all sorts of shit. Well now we know and what a WONDERFUL specimen......holy crap the thing is almost mint. Are you still shaking a bit FedEx? Fuckin' eh' man!!!! I love it.

Edit: I can't stop looking at it. Epictacular. Bunch of bbq nerds we are boys. Life is good.

The triple spin marks up the side of the lid are uber-cool.

 :o :o :o :o :o  Holy!  It's like finding a Bigfoot. ;)  I have never seen that color before in MBH.

I thought it would be 1963 too, but look at this. They are MLH.

So could we assume that it was 65 or 67 or 69  1 year production.  According to old Weber Catalog, 64,66,68 did not offer the Ambassador yellow ochre.

Super rare bird.  Reminds me of this Topic.  Wonder who has this one now.  http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/can-someone-please-identify-this-grill/
