What years did theymake a blue Genesis (side knobs)

Been looking for a blue Genesis with side knobs.  II'mcurious on what year they were made.  Any help is  appreciate.

IO think they offered it in blue every year from the late nineties through 2004. In 2005, the lid of the Genesis was changed with the thermometer being moved to the middle of the hook instead of on the right side.  They offered that in blue as well.

One of these popped up in my area about 2 months ago. For $125! I was not able to pick it up. It was the only blue I've seen in this area since the Weberitis set in. I would have loved that on my porch.

Yeah I would pay way too much money to find one of these.  I'm almost hoping I don't find one cause I don't know how much control I'll have! Hahaha

Yep. very sure.    The last pic I posted was the final version/gen of the Genesis Gold/Silver lineup which ended in 2006.  2007 saw the new designed introduced with the thick side tables and the knobs on the right hand side.   Those were made from 2007 to 2010.   In 2011,  Weber changed the burner layout from side to side (East/WEst) to front to back (North/South) which moved the knobs on the Genesis to the front of the grill.   That said, I believe some of the parts are interchangeable between the two generations.

Saw one listed here in SoCal CL last week for $550 in excellent condition.  I'm a Blue junkie also.

Ad says new,  but it's at least 6 years old.   Seller might mean "like new".   That or its been sitting unused in the back of a store or someone's garage for those 6+  years.

Can't say that there's a chance in Hades that I would pay anywhere near $550 for it.

That's my favorite color of the "modern" Genesis. It makes me sad Weber dropped the color on these and the kettles.
