Interesting find - Sampson dominion kettle

Just wondering if any of you guys knew anything about this grill. Couldn't find a lot on the Internet it definitely has Weber like features. A friend of mine has it on his dad's property out in the woods they used it to cook on when he was a kid. Definitely in rough shape but interesting nonetheless

That's what it says on the vent...unless I'm reading it incorrectly.

@haeffb , Wow!  I, too, never saw that.  I have not-so-good eyes.

Then I realized that years ago, Canada was officially referred to as the Dominion of Canada.

I found very little on it. After a little bit of egging on he's going to try to save it maybe piece it together using a donor Weber

The high dome would make for good use with beer can chickens of good size!

Very interesting.  What is the diameter of it?  I'm thinking the lid might work nice on a UDS.
