What year, and what color?
« on: July 02, 2016, 12:01:52 PM »
I'm in Minneapolis, doing an epic cook for a friend's 50th birthday. He borrowed this beauty from his neighbor. So what say you, WKC hive mind? What year range, and what color did this used to be? Our research suggests it's 69-72, when there wasn't any blue in the catalogs... But we are ready to be wrong.

LOL, @Peaspurple .  I couldn't fit it on the plane.  But I did do a quick cleanup, and roasted some beets and potatoes, then cooked a gorgeous turkey on it before grilling some pineapple and some hot dogs and burgers.  I think I cooked on it more in two days than the owner had in the last 40 years.  The outside was ancient, but the inside was nearly new!
