Another plus is that small vegetables have less tendencies to fall through the spaces in the grate....

That makes a lot sense...the wavy grates don't give the veggies a long straight slot to fall through!

OK, you've had this for a little while now, what's your opinion of it?  Tell us the pros and cons. How well does it fir a 22 inch Weber?

Looks awesome, especially the hinged grate to work more like the factory.

showed up a few days ago. It's a good looking grate. Well built. Hopefully I'll get to try it out today or tomorrow.

After you dump your lit chimney and drop the grate in place, how long does it take the hot coals to get the cast iron up to searing temp?

Just ordered one from Lowes.ca. It's also save the tax for a few days. Free deliver too. Can't wait.

Just ordered one from Lowes.ca.  Saved about $10 on taxes.  Save taxes is on today till coming Sunday. You can also order from Homedepot.ca.

Seems to be a real nice CI grate I am willing to try it out.  Sometimes I use 20" Akorn CI grates or  Lodge Sportsman CI Grates on top of Weber 22" grate.  This will be lot sleeker aesthetically.

Thanks to OP, Darko, and fdeange for the info.
