Maybe a Pre-patent pending 18"

I found this in the Green Bay area while on vacation. It has no patent or pat pending. It's faded black with thumbscrews on the leg sockets.
How old is this one?

searching for an 18" straight lip twist ash pan.

Lets just say I have acquired a few Kettles.  Big and small.   Vintage and New...  Some say I have a problem.  I find the Kettle, buy the Kettle, USE the Kettle...No problem...
