Homade Peppermint Schnapps

Well I guess we need a recipe for booze to go along with the Q. This is my recipe for Ho Made Schnapps. Careful this stuff is lethal. And always drink responsibly, use a glass at least.

PEPPERMINT SCHNAPPS                                     
                                    
                                    
1   USE MEDIUM SAUCE PAN FOR MIXING CONTENTS                                 
                                    
2   2 CUPS OF WATER                                 
                                    
3   1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR                                 
                                    
4   ADD TO SAUCE PAN AND HEAT UNTIL SUGAR IS                                 
   DISSOLVED                                 
                                    
5   LET COOL FOR 10 MINUTES                                 
                                    
6   ADD 3/4 CUP GRAIN ALCOHOL (Everclear is what you want)  [190 PROOF] AND 1 TBSP                                 
   OF PEPPERMINT EXTRACT TO WATER/SUGAR MIX                                 
   Make sure to use McCormick's Extract no substitute                                 
                                    
7   PLACE CONTENTS IN BOTTLE                                 
                                    
8   SIT IN LAZY BOY - ATTACH SEAT BELT - ENJOY

oh my god...I got SO sick on this stuff when I was 17...cant even eat the starlight mints to this day...25 yrs later!

Took me several years before I was able to drink orange juice or even smell it again...yup, vodka and oj at 15 years old or so.
