Looks Awesome!  I'm jealous.  Wish I has a Genesis to restore.  I'll keep looking for one.  As for the Big Dave/Bigdave, guess there's room for us both.  You can have the west coast and I'll keep the east coast.  Lol.

... Wish I has a Genesis to restore....

Really?? The basic Genesis is mostly the same with the 900 you already have! On the other hand, maybe I'm full of crap. I plan to sell my 900 to fund restoration of a 1000 I have in a box. Same grill but with those few subtle differences.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I think I must be missing a part. Can't figure out how it attaches.

Did you lift the control panel off and see if it could attach under it ?

Ok, I reworked it. The previous one worked on my end. How about now?

Cool,  pic shows now.   I think the solution involves lifting up the control panel.

Glad to see you got that push button starter inserted all the way. For the life of me I couldn't get it to go. So is it all done now? DO we get a final reveal pic?

@azraptor finally finished her up today. Sad though because I just realized both of my propane tanks are empty. [emoji45]
